Decades of craft. The newest tools.
Springwerks is the gourmet micro-studio of Ben Carratu and Jonathan Bushell, two senior creatives with a combined 45 years directing campaigns for global brands.
We cut our teeth on 8x10 film, shooting automotive campaigns when everything was done in-camera and processing took hours. Since then we've worked through every major shift in image-making: Photoshop's early days, digital capture, CGI, and now AI. Each one promised speed at the cost of craft. Each time, the work that won was the work where someone senior stayed in control of every frame.
That's the studio we built. We pair the newest AI image and video workflows with real photography and decades of commercial judgement, then finish everything by hand. The tools are new. The eye isn't.
Today we make listing images and video for e-commerce brands: studio-quality content, built to Amazon's spec, delivered in days. Not a content factory. Not a prompt and a shrug. Senior judgement on every frame.
We've tracked AI image generation since its earliest experimental releases: from GANs that could barely hold a face together, through the breakthroughs of diffusion models, to the current wave of tools reshaping how creative teams work. Where others saw gimmicks, we saw opportunity, a way to blend control, scale and quality that no traditional shoot could match.
Where once a campaign meant locations, casting and weeks of production, we deliver finished visuals in days, with consistency and creative flexibility built in. We work at the front edge of this field, choosing the best tool and technique for each brief. The result: faster, sharper, more scalable content that gives our clients a real edge.
