Springwerks was founded by two long-time collaborators with over 20 years of shared creative experience.

We cut our teeth on 8x10 film, shooting automotive campaigns when everything was done in-camera and processing film took hours. Since then, we’ve moved through every major shift in image-making - from Photoshop’s early days to digital capture, CGI, and now AI.

What sets this moment apart is how AI can unlock high-quality visuals for every brand, not just the ones with big budgets or long timelines.

We’ve been tracking the evolution of AI image generation since its earliest experimental releases — from GANs that could barely hold a face together, to the breakthroughs of diffusion models, to the current wave of tools reshaping how creative teams work. As new models like Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and Imagen emerged, we saw not gimmicks but opportunity: a way to blend control, scale, and quality in a way no traditional shoot could.

Where once you needed locations, casting, and weeks of production, we saw the chance to deliver campaign-ready visuals in days, with consistency and creative flexibility built in. We spend significant time staying on top of this fast-moving field to ensure we’re always using the best tools and techniques for each brief.
